The platform was made as a part of an international project Guria Fresh! Municipal Models of Support for Rural Entrepreneurship: Tarczyn - Chokhatauri. The project is funded by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the framework of Polish Aid development and humanitarian assistance programme.
The project aims to support regional and local development strategies focused on economic growth and fostering job creation in agricultural processing, local product processing, and tourism.
A key element of the project revolves around arranging workshops tailored for food producers and those managing local development. It also includes creation of materials about farming using knowledge from Poland and a study visit to Poland.
Reservation of the Guria Fruit Incubator
As part of the project, a Fruit Incubator was created - a local government facility supporting agriculture, which provides common infrastructure for processing fruit and vegetables. The Incubator aims to increase the value and profitability of small and medium-sized farms.
Using the reservation panel you can reserve equipment in the Incubator. More details can be found in the "RESERVATION" section.
Farmers and Products
The project's goal is to connect with customers through an online store, following the concept of direct sale. On the platform, you can explore details about local farmers and their products in the "Farmers and Products" section.
Product quality tracking tool
As part of the project, a Quality Certificate is developed, which will be awarded to local producers after checking whether their products meet the appropriate criteria. After receiving the Quality Certificate, farmers/ producers will receive access to the Quality Mark - it will be a special QR code. QR codes will be placed on products/ packaging and will be used to track the quality of marked products - whether a given product meets the standards.
